Level 1
The Man vs Machine program offers a fundamental overview of typical rescues in contemporary emergency response scenarios. Participants will acquire extensive experience and knowledge of essential safety principles for addressing emergencies arising from problematic interactions between humans and machines. Aligned with NFPA 1006 Rescue Technician guidelines, the training will focus on mitigating emergencies like:
• Hand caught in meat grinder
• Ring removal incidents
• Impalement situations
• Machine press/machine roller incidents
• Protester emergencies (riots)
